MONTHLY FEATURE AND EVENTS

I. M. BRAINY

It’s summer time and there is no better way to get safety messages out to children than the I.M. Brainy curriculum. I.M. Brainy has a new look, enhanced curriculum, and new features. Brainy Bear, our adorable puppet, has been around the state of Florida. I.M. Brainy and Brainy Bear is utilized at after school groups, pre-schools, kindergartens, police stations, and various safety fairs, depending on venue and assignment.

I.M. Brainy Bear is versatile and flexible in his multiple roles, teaching about pedestrian, motor vehicle, and helmet safety. There are plenty of extra activities and materials included in the curriculum, such as Jello brains that can be touched or even eaten if the children and school desire. There are sample scripts for individuals to model their own dialogue when presenting the safety lessons included in the curriculum, and a Reader’s Theater that can be performed as a drama by second to sixth graders.
