Project LEAP

This two-hour course can be presented by your own facilitator in one block or over several short sessions. Content gives officers a basic understanding of brain injury and provides video demonstrations of how to recognize and manage encounters with people who have brain injuries. Includes list of common medications prescribed for people with TBI and practice in using the S.A.R.A./Community Policing model. Appropriate for all police, sheriff and highway patrol departments.

Any department who provides this training to a minimum of 15 officers will receive 300 flashing buttons to use in their community outreach and safety promotion activities.
