Walking Buddies Project
A BIAF AWARENESS & PREVENTION PROJECT
They hold hands as they walk. Laughter and conversation flow freely between them. Although separated by several decades, Kristin Franze, 24, and Larry Norve, 71, are good friends.
In 2007, Kristin and Larry participated in BIAF's pilot project, Walking Buddies. Walking Buddies is back this year, uniting college students majoring in the health arena with local seniors in a project that combines physical fitness and social interaction with fall prevention and brain injury awareness.
